I have published a few more photos of Pou de Piques that are much the same but interesting because they are at the tail end of the harvesting. The usual happy mood, lots of jokes, some new people, and of course too much amazing wine.
I am especially pleased with the portraits of the lively Julia who inspired Jose’s first white “Julia”. Her interactions with the roosters and hens was a hoot! This whole blog could be about her. I will add that Julia is my favourite white and not at all like the sickening sweet trend these days in whites. It has class and personality. Like the real girl herself!
It will be really interesting to see her development over the years. Marie-Jose, her mother and Domingo’s partner of many years of course both seemed especially radiant. A very nice day.
